Finished the British High Commissioner’s Alcohol

  The next few days (Feb 20 – Feb 24, 2012) we spent attending the in country orientation with VSO.  But on Tuesday Feb 21, 2012 we were invited to the British High Commissioner’s house for an evening gathering.  They have a nice house with a nice outdoor pool, everyone was tempted to jump as it was hot.  This was the first public engagement for the commissioner as he is still new to Zambia.  I got to meet the deputy’s wife too who is originally from Yemen, so we had a nice chat in arabic.  Since most of the volunteers are from the UK, we finished all the wine that was served :p  Here are some pics from that evening:
